The pouring of the champagne generates a light and ephemeral foam, relayed by a cord of fine and lively bubbles. The champagne has a luminous and fluid appearance, pale yellow green in color with deep pale yellow reflections in the glass. The visual sensation announces a fresh wine.
The first nose is delicate, evoking notes of bread crumbs, lemon heart, fresh orange, acacia flowers, with an intense iodized breeze. Aeration of the Champagne reveals notes of pear, yellow grapefruit, lime blossom, orange blossom, fresh almond, white peach, fresh butter, with a very pure and enveloping iodized return. The more patient can enjoy notes of lime and star anise.
The contact in the palate is supple and fresh, with a creamy and melted effervescence. The Champagne develops a pulpy and juicy fruity substance, supported by a just taut lemony acidity. The mid-palate is orchestrated by a sandy minerality which confers frankness, suppleness, iodized salinity and length on the palate. The careful dosage facilitates the fluid expression of the basement which sails through the palate to a lemony and iodized finish, elegant and saline, always iodized. A great signing.
Le Clos is a Champagne that concentrates a delicate fruitiness and the iodine of its subsoil in a remarkable way, subtly refined and rare in the region.
We suggest enjoying your Champagne served at 8°C in a slender glass.
