Le Clos du Montdurin
The first nose is delicate, evoking notes of breadcrumbs, lemon heart, fresh orange, acacia flowers, with an intense sea breeze. Aeration of the Champagne reveals notes of pear, yellow grapefruit, linden, orange blossom, fresh almond, white peach, fresh butter, with a very pure and surrounding iodine return. The most patient can enjoy notes of lime and star anise.
The contact on the palate is supple and fresh, with a creamy and melted effervescence. The Champagne develops a pulpy and juicy fruity substance, supported by a lemony acidity just tight. The mid-palate is orchestrated by a sandy minerality which gives frankness, suppleness, iodized salinity and length on the palate. The careful dosage facilitates the fluid expression of the subsoil that flows through the palate until a lemony and iodine finish, elegant and saline, always iodine. A great signature.
